Effective Thursday, November 19th, wearing a non-medical mask will now be required in all indoor public spaces in Saskatchewan.
The health and safety of our staff and members is of the most importance to us. We ask our members to continue to abide by the following safety standards:

We will have sanitizing stations set up at the entrances; sanitize on your way in and out of our branches.

A limited number of members will be permitted in the branches at one time. Please come in alone and have other individuals with you wait outside the building - not in the ATM area or lobby.

- If you are needing to meet face-to-face with your Advisor, please contact your branch to schedule an appointment.
Cleaning and sanitizing protocols will continue in our branches for the health and safety of both our members and our staff.

• The night deposit remains open to leave your deposits, bill payments, etc. without contact and will continue to be checked regularly during business hours.
• Please use the ATM for cash withdrawals
• Utilize one of our many online services including online banking, mobile apps, Interac e-transfer, Deposit Anywhere and more.

If it is absolutely necessary for you to receive in-branch service please abide by the following safety standards:

We will only be authorizing a limited number of members in the branch at one time. Please come in alone and have other individuals with you wait outside the building - not in the ATM area or lobby.

There will be stickers on the floor to show safe distancing from other members and staff, please abide by them and stand in line where indicated.
- We will not be scheduling face to face appointments with our Advisors at this time. Please contact your branch to be directed to your Advisor and schedule a phone appointment.
We have also installed new plexi-glass barriers at out MSR stations and have enhanced our cleaning procedures. We will be sanitizing between members being served for the health and safety of everyone.

How to get the service you need, without visiting a branch:- view your account balances, pay bills and make transfers between accounts, simply by signing into online banking or mobile apps.
- Deposit cheques from home with Deposit Anywhere™on the our Mobile App on your Android or Apple device
- Send money to others using INTERAC e-Transfer† through online banking or our mobile app
- Review your investments through online banking
- Use our ATM network to access or deposit cash and cheques
We Are Still Serving our Members
Our branches are closed to public but we are serving our members by phone and email.- Pay your bills by calling your branch. (Fees are waived at this time)
- Drop your bills and/or cheques into our night depository for our staff to process
- Call your branch or your Business Relationship Advisor directly to find out about our flexible lending solutions to support you through COVID19.
- Our investment team is available to provide answers to your questions over the phone
Taking Measures to Protect Members and Staff
- Restricting access to our branches.
- Physical Distancing: We ask everyone to maintain a distance of at least two meters from each other.
- Hand Hygiene: Hand sanitizer and proper hand washing techniques are available throughout our branch locations. We will no longer greet our members with a handshake.
- Self-Isolation – Staff and members who are feeling sick or have been in contact with anyone who is sick or recently out of the country recently will not be permitted to enter our locations.
- Cleaning – All locations are receiving a more in depth cleaning regiment throughout the day and in the evenings.
- To reduce people density we have redeployed many of our staff to work from home.
- Postponed all credit union events and in-house training until further notice.
More Information
In the face of this crisis, we are changing how we serve our members. Effective March 19th at 1pm, Diamond North Credit Union will temporarily suspend all In-Branch Services.
We understand your concerns and will continue to provide access to necessary banking services. Although our doors will not be open to the public, we will have staff available to answer your calls and process transactions.
We ask that you use online banking, mobile apps or our ATM network to perform your day to day transactions such as depositing cheques, paying bills, and account inquiries. Alternative methods and actions we will be implementing include:
- Using our night deposit to drop off cheques and bill payments for processing. (Our staff will be processing these transactions regularly throughout the day.)
- Waiving fees for phone transactions.
- Working with our personal, farm and business members on a case-by-case basis to help our members manage through this challenging time.
- Reaching out to our key community organizations, business & consumer members to reduce impacts of this temporary change in service.
- Phone interviews for your investment, lending and other advisory service needs.
We are doing our best to navigate these uncertain times as the progress of the virus continues, and the impact is made known. We thank you for your support in keeping the health and safety of our members and employees the priority.

At Diamond North Credit Union, we:
- have restricted unnecessary travel between our branch locations.
- are imposing a “stay at home if you are sick" policy for all staff.
- are requiring staff returning from international (including the U.S.) and provincial trips (outside of SK) to self-isolate for 14 days upon their return.
- have asked our employees to take the proper precautions throughout the day.
We ask our members to help keep our environment safe by:
- If you are feeling ill, have travelled internationally in the last 14 days or may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, we ask that you refrain from visiting our branch locations, and we recommend you use our online/mobile banking options.

- DNCU offers many online services including online banking, mobile apps, Interac e-transfer, Deposit Anywhere and more. We encourage you to utilize these channels, or contact your branch for support.

- Bills requiring payment: if you are unable to come into the branch due to the risk surrounding the coronavirus, please call your branch to process your bill payment.
- Should you encounter financial hardship due to the pandemic, please contact your branch or Business Advisor to assist with your loan payment or other financial needs.
