Step One: Activation

Time to activiate your new card!

You can activate in one of two ways:

1. Call the activation number that is located on the sticker of your new Diamond North Mastercard.

2. Register for a MyCardInfo account and activate online.
* This is also the way you can view and manage your account information and sign up for e-statements.

Once you activate your new card, you can choose to keep the PIN that was mailed to you, or you can select your own.
If you’d like to change your PIN it can be changed at any time by calling 1.844.788.2725.

Note: If you change your PIN, the first time you make a purchase at a merchant terminal you will be required to enter your new PIN three times to trigger your PIN activation. Specific details on how to change your PIN will be included as an insert when you receive your PIN.

Step Two: Updating Your Card Information

Your new Diamond North Mastercard credit card will have a new card number, expiry date, and CVV. As well, you probably have a number of pre-authorized payments set up that will need to be changed.

It’s important once you receive your new card that you update any businesses that may have your old credit card number. These include any pre-authorized payments to your credit card, such as:
  • Netflix
  • iTunes
  • Sirius XM
  • Gym memberships
  • Subscriptions
  • Bill Payments (phone, power, engergy, water, etc.)
* Remember to update your online banking bill payee

When making a payment to your credit card – make sure it’s the right one! Look for Collabria in list of bill payees and input your new credit card number. Please ensure you update your new credit card number within your list of bill payees in online banking as applicable.

Step Three: Cancelling Your Old Credit Card

Our website will no longer contain information and links to your old Mastercard provider.

Unfortunately, cutting up your card does not cancel your old Mastercard – the card will exist until formally closed and the annual fee will still apply (even if you’re not using your card).

If you would like to cancel your old Mastercard, please follow these steps beforehand:
  1. Use all your Reward points prior to cancelling your card or within 120 days of cancelling your existing Mastercard.
  2. Review your past transactions to determine if you have used your credit card for insurance purposes (trip
    cancellation, purchase warranty, etc.). If you have, you may not want to cancel the card until the insurance/warranty period has expired.
  3. Double check all your auto debits, annual/monthly subscriptions and bill payments are changed over to your new Diamond North Mastercard number.
  4. Ensure your new Mastercard is setup as a new bill payee for online/in-branch bill payment.
If you’d like to cancel your old Mastercard, you must do so by notifying the company by fax or phone (information on the back of your card). Ensure you request confirmation of the cancellation in writing.
