Android Users Currently Experiencing Issues

Members using Android devices may be currently experiencing issues when using Deposit Anywhere. The app is overlaying the navigation bar and when you select the camera button (to take photos of cheque) the central navigation button is selected, minimizing the app. 

A workaround has been identified so users can still deposit cheques. The steps below outline the fix on Samsung S10 phones; Google Pixel phones will be similiar.

  1. Select Android Settings
  2. Select Display
  3. Select Navigation Bar
  4. Change from Navigation Buttons to Full Screen Gestures

Depositing Cheques is a Snap

With Deposit Anywhere, you can quickly and securely deposit cheques with your smartphone or tablet, from anywhere, day or night. So whether you’re at coffee with friends, at work or staying up late to get your banking done - any time is the right time to deposit cheques.

    Here’s how it works:

    1. Open the app on your smartphone.
    2. Select your account and enter the amount.
    3. Snap a photo of the front and back of your cheque.
    4. Confirm details and tap “submit”.  
    5. Write "deposited on date” on the front of the cheque and keep it for 90 days.  After 120 days, you can destroy the cheque.
